Harbour
Groomsport harbour is owned and maintained by North Down Borough Council and has various facilities including:
Two slipway launching points with low tide tie-up posts for boat cleaning and maintenance
Slipway Hard standing areas for winter storage, dinghy and trailer storage
Clubhouse for functions
Public toilets
Nearby beaches
Local shops and bars
Each autumn and spring members organise crane hire for launching and lift-out days.
There is a full time Harbour Master in operation should you have any queries regarding launching and moorings.
Cockle Row
Cockle Row cottages offer a little piece of history and holiday events are popular. Each weekend from June through August the traditional Cockle Row Cottages come alive with fun for all the family. Relax and listen to live music, get close to nature with animal road shows or try your hand at craft making.

Park and Play
The park area overlooking the harbour has a recently refurbished children's play area with modern play apparatus. Tennis courts and paddling pools are also an attraction in the summer months.
Ballymacormick Point
Ballymacormick Point is a an area of great beauty and popular with dog walkers and ramblers. Paths lead round the point to Ballyholme beach and this forms part of the Ulster Way.
Restaurants and Bars
Groomsport's Main Street plays host to The Stables Restaurant inc Gordons Wine Bar for fine food and entertainment, while the Lock and Quay provides a friendly local bar ambience.
Around the coast towards Bangor town centre is Ballyholme beach, where The Esplanade Bar and Restaurant enjoys a magnificant view over the bay.
In the opposite direction from Groomsport, we have the coastal town of Donaghadee, boasting Pier36, Grace Neills and the Moat Inn.
